Art has endless possibilities in this world and I have been blessed to work with many different mediums as well as so many amazing people. Much passion goes into what I create and when it comes from my heart I see the joy that it brings to someone's life. That emotional experience undoubtably becomes the most rewarding part of what I do. Whether it is visually stunning, comforting, functional or thought-provoking; the moments shared and the memories sprouted from each piece lets me know that my art will continue to have a place for years to come.

It all started on the underside of the dining room table. To my tiny toddler self I felt I may as well have been adorning the ceilings of the Sistine Chapel! It was my first display for everyone to see. I then grew into painting on my Great Grandmother's bathroom walls complimenting the soft green and pink pastel tiles with delicate flowers, vines and graceful fairies. From there I would go on to paint many walls with the likes of cartoon characters, exotic animals, plants and far off places! I soon became known for portraits and whimsical surrealist works of art. All leading me closer to the root of my true passion.

While my imagination has had an endless array of ideas over the years, from design to cute and cuddly character doodles, painting from the beauty of life has kept me driven to constantly discover my next big project. Living in many different states across the U.S. has given me much insight to friendships, cultures,  environments and experiences that I will forever cherish. Bringing those life lessons into context with my artwork is how I finally settled on  Illustration, in the form of Children's Literature, where I have found my happy place today.
